Comfort is for Wimps Comedy is brought to you by hobbyist comic and Discomfort Coach, Jessica O’Reilly. The Central West Newbies night is an open-mic event that gives aspiring country-dwelling comics a safe and supportive space to flex their funny muscles and test the waters of hilarity.
Our aim is to support communities outside cities by offering unique creative opportunities like these. Because why should the big smoke get to tell all the sallies? They shouldn’t, that’s what.
NEWBIE APPLICATIONS CLOSED
Who can register?
(If you’re over 18).
Comedy shows are always stronger when there’s a mix of levels, so we welcome newbies, early stagers and seasoned comics to come along and showcase their talent.
This is for Dubbo locals and beyond.
